Introducing Living Room Hide and Seek, the game that takes your classic childhood favorite and shrinks it down to pocket-size! There’s a twist:
No exiting the living room! Not even a single foot is allowed outside. Your world is now a collection of couches, coffee tables, bookshelves, drapes, and possibly the odd decorative fern. Become one with the cushions. Merge with the curtains. Pretend to be an abstract statue next to the fireplace. The options are hilariously varied!
While the available space might be small, the laughter will be big. The couch becomes a cave, the bookshelf a labyrinth, and if you’re small enough, perhaps that large vase might become a refuge. Who knew the living room was such an uncharted wilderness!
After the countdown
“It” opens their eyes and embarks on the quest to locate all hiders. As in traditional hide and seek, the first person found becomes “It” for the next round. If a hider can sneak back to home base without being tagged and shouts, “Home free!” they’re safe from becoming “It” in the next round.
There will be giggles and surprises. There will be questionable hiding places and probably a few gentle reminders not to knock over Mom’s favorite lamp. But above all, there will be fun. Lots and lots of fun.
